With the deadline to apply for FEMA disaster assistance right around the corner, a mobile unit will be in Coney Island today to help those affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida submit their applications.
The FEMA deadline has been extended until Jan. 4 but survivors are encouraged to file insurance claims as soon as possible.
