Flotilla returned to Starlight Park Saturday after being rained out in the spring.

The event brought dozens of groups out for a 5K canoe race on the Bronx River.

The Bronx River Alliance and the New York City Parks Department invite residents to the event each year as a way to educate the public about the improvements that have been made to the Bronx River. 

The Bronx River Alliance holds public river tours throughout the year.
