Good Samaritans were honored Wednesday for their efforts in helping get residents out safely after a fire tore through a Clay Avenue apartment building.
The fire last Tuesday injured four people and a week-old baby. Once the flames broke out, a tenant yelled for help, and that's when the Samaritans sprang into action.
Those honored by Bronx officials include NYCHA employees and Con Edison workers, who were at a construction site on the block at the time.
Building workers say the fire was intentionally set by arguing residents.
