The Old West Farms Soldiers Cemetery unveiled a new sign on its facade during Veterans Day celebrations Wednesday.
The burying ground, which dates back to more than 200 years ago, is the resting place of soldiers from four wars -- the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War and World War I.
Historians from the Bronx Museum say it's the oldest military cemetery in the borough.
A project is underway to identify some of the remains buried in unmarked plots.
