The group behind the Hunts Point Haunted House says putting on a good show is more than just smoke and lights.

The show has gone on for 11 years, according to organizers, and it's evolved during that time.

The current haunted house includes a photo opportunity at the beginning, a miniature theatrical performance and then a twist -- actors tell the visitors they're going to be used as live bait to coax out a residential witch.

This year's haunted house is open through Halloween.
