Elected officials and community members say that they opposed the construction of the International Leadership Charter Middle School at 306 West 232nd Street.
The rally was organized to allow community voices to be heard regarding accountability, transparency, and more localized issues such as traffic concerns relating to the development.
Community members spoke with news 12s Samantha Chaney about their concerns.
