A Lakewood woman has plead guilty to endangering a child.
Officials say police were called to the scene when Chaya Shurkin left her child in a car for about two-and-a-half hours in the heat.
First responders performed life-saving measures, but the child died later at the hospital.
The death was ruled accidental.
Shurkin will be sentenced next month and will most likely be put on probation.
