As part of Women History Month, News 12 is recognizing a group of women artists who use their platform to advocate and speak out against violence.

“Let Her Rock” is a group founded by Hope Daley-Derry after she lost a loved one to gun violence in 2019.

Their most recent project "Let Her Rock: A Love Letter" was released in January. It featured 12 songs, one song for each of the vocalist.

News 12’s Daniella Rodriguez spoke with the group of musically gifted women whose main goal is to inspire young girls.
