Teen arrested in deadly shooting of 15-year-old in Queens

A man accused of trying to rape a person in Melrose has been arrested, according to police.

Authorities say 30-year-old Jose Hernandez attacked the victim on July 17 near 150th St. and Wales Avenue.

The charges against him include attempted rape, strangulation and assault.
