NYC and FEMA introduce 'Rapid Repairs' to help homeowners
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced a new program 'NYC Rapid Repairs' to help homeowners in the city whose homes were damaged by Superstorm Sandy.
The program is a partnership between the city and FEMA to make sure damaged homes are repaired quickly.
Mayor Bloomberg says homeowners have to call FEMA to get an ID number, then ask for the service and they'll be assisted. Homeowners can start signing up for Rapid Repairs on Tuesday.
