NYPD: 5 people wanted in connection to a string of 5 robberies at knifepoint

Police are on the hunt for five people who robbed five people at knifepoint. These attacks all happened in the same area, just days apart from each other.
The first incident happened on Sept. 28 where two people approached a 25-year-old man, police say. Reports show that the pair showed the man a knife demanded his things and then took off with them. The second incident happened five hours later at a location five minutes away where two people went up to another 25-year-old man, this incident had the same outcome as the first, police say.
On Sept. 30, two people struck again — this time robbing an 18-year-old man. Reports show they once again they displayed a knife and then forcibly took his things and ran off. The 18-year-old sustained injuries to his hand and knee but did not go to the hospital to be further evaluated.
The fourth incident is where things took a turn for the worst on Oct. 1. According to the NYPD, two people approached a 29-year-old man, showed him their knife and then began punching the victim knocking him to the ground, then kicked him all over his body. They once again fled with his things.
The last incident took place on Oct. 4. Police say, five people went up to another 18-year-old man. They displayed the knife once again before forcibly taking his things and then ran away.
