9h agoPolice are investigating a shooting that took place at a bodega on Westchester Avenue on Thursday night.
According to the NYPD, a man was shot at a bodega located at 656 Westchester Ave. between White Plains Road and Jackson Avenue.
Police found the victim, a 20-year-old, with gunshot wounds to both of his legs. They say it appears that he was shot four times in the doorway of the building.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to be OK. Police are now searching for a person who drove away from the scene in a black vehicle.
Anyone who might have information is urged to contact the police.
