NYPD: Man wanted for groping woman in the subway

Police say the suspect grabbed her backside before exiting the train station and running away.

Police are looking for a man they say grabbed a woman’s backside at the Fordham Road “4” train” subway station.

The incident happened on January 29 when the man approached a 30-year-old woman walking on the mezzanine. According to police, he grabbed her backside before exiting the train station and running away. The victim did not have any physical injuries.

Police say the suspect is between 30 to 40 years old and was wearing a black coat, yellow hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers and blue sweatpants with a white stripe.
