The NYPD is investigating an act of vandalism that took place at a Jewish cultural center in the Bronx.

Police say "Free Palestine" was written in black and purple paint across the front and side of the building. They say the incident took place at 3301 Bainbridge Ave. at around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Authorities say that it has not been classified as a hate crime yet, but that the NYPD's Hate Crime Unit has been notified of the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time.
