Police say an arrest has been made in a fatal stabbing in Mott Haven.
According to police, Jamaya Nelson, 23, is facing multiple charges including second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and aggravated criminal possession of a weapon.
Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police say they were called East 138th Street where they found Michael Bookhart, 32, lying on the floor and stabbed in the chest.
Bookhart later died at the hospital.
Police say the incident may have been a result of domestic violence.
