A gate in Park Slope is full of messages of hope and dreams for the future - and it's bringing the community together with words of unity and oneness.
People are writing notes and hanging it on the iron gate on President Street and Fifth Avenue, which garners both heavy car and foot traffic along the Brooklyn street.
The art installation was created by artist Caty Bartholomew, who says it's a way for everyone to look ahead.
Hundreds have already written their positive hopes for the future on the wooden hanging pieces.
The art project which hangs on the Green Space at President Street Gate is in collaboration with the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District.
The artist tells News 12 that the art installation is expected to stay up weather permitting, and invites people to come out and join in on the fun as there are still empty wooden pieces that are awaiting to be written on.
