A teenager is facing multiple charges after police say they found a gun on their moped outside of a school building in Mott Haven.
Authorities say they made the discovery Thursday morning outside the building on Jackson Avenue, which houses multiple schools.
The 14-year-old was charged with possession of a firearm as well as possession of a weapon on school grounds.
The Department of Education adds the gun was never brought into the school building.
