Police: 4 people wanted in connection with string of robberies in The Bronx

A group of people is being sought in connection to a series of robberies getting away with thousand of dollars worth of jewelry.

It happened on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in front of 2255 Boston Road. Police say multiple people approached a 26-year-old man punched him in the face and body multiple times then snatched his necklace and ran away.

Seventeen minutes later in the area of Wilson Avenue and Pelham Parkway, a 38-year-old man was riding his scooter. The same four people removed the victim from the electric scooter, beat him up, snatched his necklace, bracelet, and took off with the scooter.

Seven minutes later, in front of 960 E. 183rd St. police say they struck again and snatched two necklaces from a 44-year-old man.

Police say the group got away with thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1800-577-TIPS.
