Police: Gunman arrested after pointing gun at officers during crowd control incident

Officers faced off with a gunman during a crowd control incident early Saturday in Brooklyn.

Police tell News 12 that officers were involved in a shooting while trying to break up a crowd on Myrtle Avenue.

They say a 32-year-old man pulled out a gun and pointed it toward officers. The man did not open fire, but police tell News 12 that officers shot at the man.

No one was injured in that incident.

The man who aimed at the officers is now in police custody as charges against him are pending.
