Police say a suspect is wanted for a Friday night shooting in Morrisania that left a 58-year-old man dead.

Police say a 911 call lead them to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound on Washington Avenue at around 8 p.m.

Authorities say the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, but he could not be saved.

No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
