A new study found that Bronx college graduates earn more than their Ivy League counterparts.
According to a study by the Brookings Institution, a nonprofit research group, both SUNY Maritime and Manhattan College graduates beat out Ivy League universities like Harvard and Yale for top earnings.
The study found that after 10 years, graduates from both Maritime and Manhattan College raked in more than $121,000 a year on average.
Administrators at both Bronx colleges say that they are not surprised by the recent findings.
SUNY Maritime College says its students' success is attributed to its great facility and practical training, while Manhattan College says its great programs and faculty have made students successful in the workforce.
