Kaen is from the Bronx with a love for sports. She was inducted into the Mount Saint Vincent College Hall of Fame where she continued that passion as a health and physical education teacher at Saint Barnabas.
She has been honored with several awards as both an educator and coach for the varsity basketball, softball and volleyball teams. Those who know her say she is always encouraging and empowering her students to further their education with scholarships to college.
