Senate Republicans narrowly passed President Donald Trump's backed "big, beautiful bill" Tuesday night.
The proposed tax and spending cuts package passed after hours of deliberation.
Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote.
Booker shared his thoughts while on a construction tour in Kearny on Wednesday. He said they fought in every way possible and spoke about the bill's potential impact on New Jersey.
"It is going to raise costs on working Americans. New Jerseyians will see their energy costs go up. New Jerseyians will see their health care costs go up. New Jerseyians will be paying more from premiums for their health care. It's just a disastrous bill," said Sen. Booker.
Sen. Andy Kim wrote in a statement, "For the last 27 hours we fought on the Senate floor to try and protect Americans from this dangerous bill. Let's now work to stop this in the House."
The bill is now with the House, where deliberations continue.
