Severe thunderstorms expected Thursday evening across NYC
There is a chance of isolated showers Wednesday evening, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Thursday will start off mostly sunny with highs near 87 degrees, but there is a marginal risk of severe storms Thursday evening.
Severe thunderstorms are expected for Thursday evening after 8 p.m. for New York City.
The storms will be capable of producing damaging wind with a low threat for tornadic activity.
Things will clear up Friday with mostly sunny conditions and high near 86 degrees.
