The teen who pleaded guilty to firing shots inside an LA Fitness in North Babylon was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday.
As News 12 has reported, 18-year-old Noah Haynes was asked to leave the gym last December after getting into a fight with another teen.
Police say about a half hour later, Haynes came back, slashed the teen in the neck, and fired one shot before being tackled.
That's when officers were called, and Haynes was arrested. No one was hit.
Haynes pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. In addition, Haynes received an indeterminate sentence of one to three years of incarceration for also pleading guilty to reckless endangerment.
