5ds agoA crash involving a tractor-trailer and passenger vehicle blocked all lanes of the New York Thruway in Rockland County this morning.
State police say the tractor-trailer overturned in the collision around 2:09 a.m. around Exit 14 along the Spring Valley/Nanuet line.

The occupants in the vehicles only suffered minor injuries
For hours, southbound traffic inched by on the right shoulder and there was over a three-mile back-up. Traffic on northbound side of the thruway was diverted off at exit 14 (Route 59) until about 5:30 a.m. when it was reopened.
Crews were finally able to get the truck upright and clear the thruway on the southbound side around 6:30 a.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown yet.
