The Bronx District Attorney’s Office says three people, including a Department of Education employee, have been indicted on a murder charge for a shooting in Riverdale.

Naya Brown, a DOE community coordinator, Pernell Warren and Daniel Ligon are accused of fatally shooting Keon Gill and injuring his brother on Jan. 25 near West 242nd Street and Broadway.

Prosecutors say the trio faces additional charges, including attempted murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

Officials say Gill was fatally shot in the chest just after 3 a.m. Gill is survived by his four children.

Luis was struck in the leg and is expected to recover.

Gill’s family told News 12 he was celebrating his 44th birthday with his brother, Luis, and a few friends at a local bar the night of his death.

“I mean, eventually they say you heal…I don’t think so. It’s going to take a very long time,” said his mother, Brenda Gill.

Brown, Warren and Ligon are due back in court on June 9.
