One business owner is pushing to reopen his laundromat as soon as possible following a four-alarm fire on Webster Avenue Friday – but the building may need to be demolished first.
Mohammed Laeq of Express Laundry says the landlord is thinking of demolishing the laundromat and once it's built back up, he wants to reopen it with his partner.
The fire broke out at around 12:45 p.m. Fire officials say the fire started in an attic that spans across four businesses.
Laeq says he's been in contact with the insurance company.
The laundromat is on a 15-year lease. The store opened four years ago.
