More than 100 students in Williamsbridge got the chance to hop in police cars, ambulances and other vehicles for an up-close experience.
For the last month, preschoolers and elementary students at the New York Institute for Special Education have been learning all about community helpers and different vehicles in the neighborhood.

This is the ninth time the school is hosting this event.
