A cyclist was struck and killed along Fort Hamilton Parkway by a school bus filled with children, according to the NYPD.

The incident took place just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 41st Street. Police say that the bus had about 20 kids on board and collided with a 44-year-old man who was riding a bike.

The bus driver, a 66-year-old man, remained at the scene following the accident.

Neighbors say that Fort Hamilton Parkway has become a race track, despite the standing traffic cameras in the area.

“Even though you got the light, sometimes they just pass,” said neighbor Alberto Zabla. “We need more security, police. The rules are there, the law is there, but they have to enforce it.”

No arrests have been made, and the children who were on that bus are all OK.
