All lanes have reopened and traffic is flowing freely on the southbound side of the New Jersey Turnpike in Edison after an Amazon tractor-trailer overturned Friday morning.
Officials say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. They say the Amazon truck sideswiped another tractor-trailer, struck a BMW SUV and then overturned onto a Jeep. This all happened just north of Interchange 10, blocking several lanes of the highway.
The truck was uprighted within about 20 minutes, but it took crews several hours to clean up the mess and reopen the highway.
State police say that there were no serious injuries.
