Members of Delta Sigma Theta joined up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive Friday in the Bronx.

Red Cross employees helped draw blood from community members who were willing to donate.

The Bronx chapter of Delta Sigma Theta says it hosts three blood drives a year.

The American Red Cross says it has seen a decrease in young people donating blood ages 18-24.
