Bronx designer thrilled that AOC supports her brand by donning her facemasks

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is showing her support for the Bronx through the masks she wears.
She's been spotted wearing Leah Kirsch. Its owner, of the same name, went to school at Fordham and started the business in the Bronx.
Kirsch says she was thrilled to see Ocasio-Cortez supporting her brand.
She makes the masks out of the remnants of cropped shirts, leaving little to no waste.
Her goal was to make cute and comfortable masks, and she adds it's nice to see someone working hard for women representing her clothing.
