Two riding clubs are hoping to find new homes for some pets at an adoption drive Saturday.
New York City Animal Care and Control aided the After Dark Ryders and the Guilty Social Club in setting up an adoption drive.
The clubs are seeking homes for four dogs and eight cats.
"We are always doing things for the community, always giving back," says Cyn Acevedo, president of the After Dark Ryders. "We do diaper drives, so we thought, why not do it for the animals this time?"
