A 26-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with rape that police say took place earlier this month in Williamsbridge.
Investigators say a 25-year-old woman was near Paulding Avenue and East 212th Street around 4 a.m. on Sept. 13 when the suspect approached her, engaged in conversation, then put his arm around her, dragged her to the ground and forcibly raped her.
On Saturday, police arrested 26-year-old Zion Exum. Police say the man was arrested for jumping a turnstile Saturday morning. Upon his arrest, an anonymous tip linked him to the Sept. 13 attack.
