Firefighters respond to basement fire in Kingsbridge
2h agoFour victims were rushed to the hospital after a fire broke out in a Brownsville apartment early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters and EMS teams rushed inside the building at 305 Livonia Ave. to put out the flames that started on the third floor. Firefighters were able to place those flames under control within minutes.
Tenants living on different floors told News 12 they rushed inside once the fire was out to make sure their belongings were safe.
Four people were transported to Brookdale Hospital for unknown injuries.
It's unclear what the cause of the fire was.
