FDNY firefighter injured during Bronx house fire released from hospital

A firefighter who was injured during fire on White Plains Road in the Bronx was released Sunday from the hospital.
Kevin Paulicelli was one of two firefighters who were seriously injured during the two-alarm fire that broke out at a home. Over 100 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene.
Paulicelli was released from NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and was greeted by fellow FDNY members.
“I want to thank everyone that pulled me out the house that day,” he said. “Also, the EMTs and the rest of you guys – what they did…saved my life.”
He also thanks staff at the hospital.
