The FDNY says it responded to a fire at an apartment building on Bailey Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights at around 9:24 p.m.
According to the FDNY, it took 78 firefighters and EMS personnel to get the situation under control. One person was injured but refused medical attention at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
