If you still haven’t been able to find a vaccine appointment, more community-based pop-up vaccination sites are coming online in the next week.
Monroe College is one of those vaccination sites. Approximately 600 doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine were made available Friday.
In total, over 7,000 people are expected to be vaccinated in just the next week.
Across the state, 15 other pop-up sites will prepare to do the same. However, the Bronx continues to fall behind as the least vaccinated borough.
Only 13% of Black individuals across the city are fully vaccinated.
