Family identifies Soundview shooting victim as 17-year-old high school senior
yesterdayA 23-year-old man riding on an MTA bus from the Bronx to Manhattan Sunday night was stabbed with a boxcutter, the NYPD says.
Police say the victim was slashed in the back of the neck and abdomen by an unknown man.
EMS responded to the scene near West 20th Street and Sherman Avenue in Inwood just before 9 p.m. and brought the victim to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.
