NYPD: Man wanted for stealing pit bull outside of Morrisania store

The dog, named Precious, was taken by a man who ran toward East 166th Street.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man who stole a dog outside of a store Friday in Morrisania.
Authorities say the owner tied the dog to a fence before walking into a shop on Third Avenue at around 6 a.m. The dog, named Precious, was then taken by a man who ran toward East 166th Street.
Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800-577-TIPS.
