Police are searching for burglary suspects caught on camera stealing from Kings Plaza Mall.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows three men smashing a display case inside the mall and stealing all of the watches inside.
They say the burglary happened Monday around 5 a.m.
Police say the trio broke a glass door at the mall's East 55th Street entrance and made their way over to an Invicta Watch kiosk. That’s when they say the men smashed the glass to the display and stole the watches inside and ran off.
As of Friday, all of the entrances to Kings Plaza Mall boarded up with police stationed outside.
News 12 is told they boarded up the windows over the last couple of days strictly out of precaution.
There had been a protest scheduled for outside of the mall on Monday, but it ended up being moved to a different location.
Investigators tell News 12 they do not believe the burglary that happened here Monday morning is connected to any of the looting seen across the city.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
