One person was hospitalized after a car crash at a busy intersection in WIlliamsbridge.

The bus stop sign on Eastchester Road by Boston Road has been knocked over, lifted up by the root and taking the concrete up with it. According to police, two cars collided there overnight Friday.

Jesus Rivera, who lives nearby, says many people don't stop at the traffic light at night, making the intersection very dangerous.

The seated waiting area of the bus stop is new, Rivera says, after another crash happened in the same spot over the summer.
