4ds agoA driver was cited for speeding 130 MPH in an illegal race early Saturday morning on the Long Island Expressway in Ronkonkoma, according to police.
Members of the Suffolk Police Street Takeover Task Force say Leis Zavala was racing another vehicle around 12 a.m. near Exit 59.
The 23-year-old from Oyster Bay was cited for unlawful speeding contest and eight other infractions.
Zavala is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
