Police: Man in Hasidic attire attacked by group in Brooklyn

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the attack.

Police say a man was attacked by a group of people Friday night in Brooklyn.
Officers say a 21-year-old man dressed in traditional Hasidic attire was jumped by a group of unknown individuals around 8 p.m. in front of 58 Gerry Street.
The group punched and kicked the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries to his mouth. 
The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the attack. 
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
