Some young ladies in the borough now have some additional life skills following the completion of a program called Table of Queens.
It all culminated at a special crowning ceremony that happened in Bathgate on Wednesday.
The girls were blindfolded as they answered life skill questions to show they have nothing to fear in life.
As part of the 10-week program, they visited banks to learn financial literacy and volunteered giving back to less fortunate to learn charity.
Families that took part say it's made a world of difference.
The program that was put together by the nonprofit Table of Queens does not end after the crowning; The young ladies are also able to get internships through program mentors.
