A 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed during a house party in West Babylon that Suffolk police say spiraled out of control late Monday night.

Suffolk police say between 90 and 100 teenagers were gathered at a home on Carlton Road when a fight broke out. During that altercation, 15-year-old Liam Delemo, was stabbed.

Police say 70-year-old Bonnie Miranda, the homeowner, allowed her grandchild to host the party. She is now facing charges under Suffolk County’s social host law and endangering the welfare of the child.

Neighbors told News 12 the party appeared to get out of hand, with hundreds of teens spilling into the yard and breaking part of the fence as they tried to flee once the fight erupted.

Police have not made any arrests in connection to the stabbing, as of Tuesday evening.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
