Tenants stood outside 1111 Ocean Ave. in Brooklyn to demand their landlord make repairs to their apartment building, which they say is dangerously deteriorating.
“We are tired of worrying about unsafe conditions to our homes,” says tenant Rita Kettrles.
Members from the Flatbush Tenant Coalition tell News 12 the conditions inside and outside of the building are unsafe and unsanitary. They pointed to water damage, concrete on the verge of collapse and more.
They claim their landlord, Alex Wasserman, has not done anything to make repairs.
They want Attorney General Letitia James to take action against the landlord which they claim she has been investigating since 2019.
