A fallen tree in Morris Park damaged several cars and left some residents without power for hours. It happened on Tomlinson Avenue just after noon. Residents tell News 12 they've been complaining for years about this specific tree. “This tree’s been like this but it’s getting worse and worse, it’s lifting everything, my gate concrete everything is destroyed," said Denice Vegliante, who lives directly behind the tree. Vegliante says she's put several complaints in with 311 only for them to be all closed out. “I have the reports that I’ve been calling and they tell me they are going to come and fix it, but when?” Con Edison was on the scene working into the night to restore power.
