Residents looking to spend Father's Day outdoors are rethinking plans as tropical-feeling weather lingers in the borough.
While there is no rain so far, the humid weather is hampering plans of barbecues, fishing, golf or even a baseball game.
Some people News 12 spoke with this morning are wishing some better and less oppressive summertime weather would quickly make its way into the borough, but overall they say celebrating Father’s Day is just the same indoors or out.

News 12 meteorologists say Sunday should be mostly cloudy with a few light showers or sprinkles. Temperatures will be around 83 degrees.
